As an optometry intern, you participate in a training or research program as a student. In this role, you may shadow an optometrist to learn more about their daily duty.
Course Content : Training during the Internship would cover the following :
♦ Refraction ♦ Contact lenses. ♦ Low vision aids. ♦ Posterior segment investigations.
♦ Anterior segment investigations. ♦ Cataract investigations. ♦ Outreach program. ♦ Soft Skills & Patients counselling.
Further, the students would be exposed to Standard Operating Procedures and various processes.
Duration : Duration of the program is 1 Year.
